What Is Reproductive Psychiatry?

Reproductive psychiatry focuses on how biological and hormonal changes during the reproductive years—like the menstrual cycle, preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause—can interplay with mood, anxiety, and overall mental well-being. It’s especially relevant for women, whose psychiatric symptoms are often influenced by these shifts.

What Is Neurodivergant?

Neurodivergent is a term used to describe people whose brains work in ways that differ from what’s considered the typical or “neurotypical” pattern. It includes a variety of neurodevelopmental conditions, such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and more—each with its own way of processing information, learning, and interacting with the world.

How Is Your Care Culturally Affirming?

As someone who was born and raised in another country and later immigrated, I deeply understand the complexities of navigating two cultures. Whether you’re an immigrant yourself or the child of first-generation immigrants, I bring a culturally sensitive lens to our work. I get how culture, family expectations, identity, and community shape mental health—and I aim to create a space where all of that is seen and respected.
